Scheduled review examines recorded CCTV footage at agreed intervals. Under the iSurveillanz Mini model, eligible smaller locations may be reviewed approximately every four hours, supported by AI where feasible and verified by trained surveillance professionals.
How scheduled review differs from live monitoring
Live monitoring reviews authorised views during selected service hours. Scheduled review returns to recorded footage at defined points in the day. It is therefore designed for requirements where a short delay between the event and the review is acceptable.
The distinction should be clear before onboarding: scheduled review is not continuous watching and should not be selected for needs that require immediate onsite awareness or emergency action.
What can be reviewed
The written scope may identify opening or closing checks, visible safety conditions, restricted areas, emergency exits, unusual access, camera availability or other site-specific observations. The review window, cameras and reportable conditions are agreed in advance.
When a relevant event is found, the professional verifies the available visual context, records the camera and time, and prepares a factual report. Critical incidents identified during a scheduled review are reported promptly through the agreed channel.
Eligibility depends on the recording environment
The DVR or NVR must retain footage long enough for the review schedule, allow practical playback and provide camera views with sufficient clarity. Network stability, access permissions, time accuracy and VMS compatibility are also important.
iSurveillanz Mini is intended for eligible smaller locations with up to 25 cameras. A larger or more complex site may still use scheduled review, but only through a separately assessed and written scope.
Scheduled review for requirements that do not need continuous live monitoring
Scheduled review offers a different timing model, not guaranteed detection. AI may assist, but human verification and camera limitations still apply. The client remains responsible for its CCTV equipment, recording retention and any physical or emergency response.
Where the required event is time-critical, the feasibility review may recommend live coverage or a different operational control instead.
