RETAIL & MULTI-SITE
Consistent CCTV monitoring and reporting across retail locations.
Create shared reporting standards while respecting the layout, camera coverage and priorities of each store.
Retail and commercial networks often operate with different camera systems and local routines. iSurveillanz can help central teams define common incident categories and reporting fields while keeping each location’s approved cameras and SOP clear.
Core observations and optional add-ons
Core incident monitoring may include unusual access, emergency-exit conditions, camera availability, visible safety concerns or other events defined by the client. Optional requirements can include customer counting, footfall summaries, queues or vehicle movement where technically feasible.
Counting is an agreed analytical requirement, not identity tracking. Results depend on camera position, overlap, entrances, occlusion and scene quality and should not be presented as guaranteed unique-person counts.
Standardise the report, not the store
A multi-site programme can use consistent categories, priorities and report fields while preserving local camera names, operating hours and escalation contacts. This gives the central team comparable information without pretending every location has the same layout.
Scheduled review may suit smaller sites, while selected high-activity locations may require live coverage during agreed hours. The feasibility review can recommend a mixed model.
Privacy and appropriate camera use
The client remains responsible for lawful camera placement, notices, access permissions and the appropriate treatment of employees, visitors and customers. Sensitive requests should be documented and assessed before monitoring begins.
Face-related monitoring is not enabled by default. Any specifically requested face-detection or captured-face evidence requirement must be technically feasible, legally permitted and included in a written client-approved scope.
Reporting that supports local action
A verified report can identify the site, camera, time, category and factual observation. It is then delivered to the authorised client contact through CRAD360 or another agreed channel.
Store or site management remains responsible for speaking with staff, helping customers, securing an area or taking any other physical or emergency action.
FEASIBILITY
Multi-site scoping information
- Location list and camera count by site
- Store hours and time zones
- Shared and location-specific priorities
- Counting or queue requirements, if any
- Central and local escalation contacts
- DVR/NVR/VMS differences across the network
Remote service availability is subject to technical feasibility, lawful authorized access, time-zone coverage, data-handling requirements and an agreed written scope.
