LIVE MONITORING
Live CCTV monitoring during agreed service hours.
Defined coverage, clear incident priorities and trained human verification for active operations.
Live monitoring means authorised camera views are reviewed during the service hours and days agreed with the client. It does not automatically mean that every camera receives uninterrupted attention at every second unless that exact operating model is assessed, documented and contracted.
What live coverage is designed to support
Live coverage can suit active factories, warehouses, commercial premises and multi-site operations where selected cameras or zones require attention during defined periods. Typical priorities may include visible safety exceptions, restricted-area activity, emergency-exit conditions, unusual access, material movement or camera availability.
The client identifies which observations matter and how they should be prioritised. iSurveillanz converts those priorities into a written monitoring and reporting workflow rather than applying the same checklist to every site.
AI assistance with professional judgement
Where the camera, scene and technical environment support it, AI may help organise or highlight relevant activity. It remains an aid to attention, not a promise of universal or guaranteed detection.
A trained surveillance professional reviews the available visual context, compares it with the written SOP and decides whether the observation should be recorded and reported. This human step helps distinguish relevant events from normal site activity.
Coverage and escalation must be written down
A workable live service identifies coverage hours, monitoring days, priority cameras, incident categories, reporting contacts and the meaning of each escalation level. Time-zone coverage is confirmed during feasibility review for sites outside the monitoring centre’s normal operating context.
Reports can include the site, camera, timestamp, category, factual observation, priority and available incident evidence. Delivery may use CRAD360, WhatsApp, email or another approved channel within the written scope.
Live monitoring is not physical response
The client remains responsible for onsite security, emergency response, equipment operation and all physical action. iSurveillanz observes, verifies, classifies, reports and escalates according to the agreed process; it does not dispatch guards, contact police as a default service or intervene at the premises.
For locations where incidents do not require continuous attention, scheduled playback review may be a more proportionate option.
FEASIBILITY
Live-service planning points
- 8-, 10-, 12-hour or 24×7 coverage requirement
- Six- or seven-day operating schedule
- Priority cameras and critical zones
- Escalation contacts for each service period
- Written definitions for reportable events
- Fallback process if a camera or connection is unavailable
Remote service availability is subject to technical feasibility, lawful authorized access, time-zone coverage, data-handling requirements and an agreed written scope.
