Factories generate continuous activity across entrances, production zones, material areas, utilities and dispatch points. iSurveillanz helps plant teams define which visible exceptions should be reviewed and reported from existing CCTV.
Requirements that may be suitable
Possible monitoring priorities include visible PPE exceptions, entry into defined restricted zones, emergency-exit obstruction, unsafe movement, unusual material placement, camera availability and selected process departures that can be seen clearly from the approved camera angle.
Each requirement is assessed separately. A camera view cannot establish conditions outside its field of view, and an observation should not be treated as a substitute for a competent onsite safety inspection.
Example safety-observation workflow
Suppose a worker enters a marked area without the PPE specified in the client SOP. AI may help draw attention to the relevant activity where technically compatible. A professional reviews the sequence, checks the site instruction and creates a safety observation only when the visual context supports it.
The verified report reaches the authorised client team. The client’s manager—not iSurveillanz—decides and performs the onsite action, such as speaking with the worker or addressing the work condition.
Align cameras with the written SOP
Plant safety and operations teams should identify critical zones, acceptable views, shift timings, escalation contacts and the factual language expected in a report. Camera timestamps and site maps must remain accurate so that evidence can be located and understood.
Where glare, distance, obstructions, low light or equipment block the required detail, the limitation should be documented rather than hidden behind an automation claim.
What monitoring does not replace
Remote CCTV review does not replace machine guarding, permit-to-work systems, statutory inspections, trained onsite supervision, emergency procedures or legal safety responsibilities. It adds a documented visual-review and reporting layer around agreed requirements.
iSurveillanz does not install or repair cameras and does not provide physical emergency intervention.
