A clinic or healthcare site requires careful distinction between appropriate operational CCTV and sensitive clinical activity. Any iSurveillanz scope must identify authorised camera views, excluded areas, lawful access and the exact observations the client requires.
Define appropriate camera zones first
Possible areas may include entrances, external approaches, reception circulation, approved waiting areas, emergency exits, service access or other non-clinical operational zones. Cameras covering consultation, treatment or other sensitive spaces should not be assumed suitable for remote review.
The client is responsible for lawful camera placement, notices, permissions and local healthcare/privacy obligations. These responsibilities cannot be transferred to a remote monitoring provider.
Suitable operational requirements
Subject to feasibility, the SOP may cover unusual access, emergency-exit obstruction, queue context in an approved area, camera availability or defined operational observations. The service does not diagnose medical conditions, monitor patients clinically or provide an emergency response.
AI assistance, where used, supports attention and organisation. A trained professional verifies relevant visual context against the written scope before reporting.
Evidence should remain proportionate
The complete CCTV archive normally remains on the client-controlled DVR or NVR. When reporting requires evidence, only a relevant image or short clip should be captured according to the agreed scope, channel and retention requirements.
Reports should avoid unnecessary personal detail. Recipients, access, evidence handling and deletion or retention expectations must be discussed during onboarding.
Human-verified reporting and client responsibility
The professional records the site, camera, time, category and factual observation that can be seen. The authorised clinic team receives the report and decides the operational, security or emergency action.
